This session was done in early spring, but it is just now making it’s way to my new website. Get ready to swoon (and possibly have baby fever). Say hello to Dylan, a handsome little fella that came into the world with some amazingly loving parents. I had the best time during his newborn shoot and just fell in love with the way Kelly decorated his room. They are first time parents, but you can’t tell by the natural way they care for that sweet baby. They’re naturals, for sure. Another favorite part of this session was their sweet dog, Georgia, taking part of the lifestyle shoot. She knows she is already the best big sister. Dylan is surrounded by love and joy. Isn’t he precious?

These sweet lovebirds are already enjoying married life, but that doesn’t mean I can’t share their engagment session on my blog. Aren’t they just adorable? Matt had Lauren laughing the entire time, which I think is so important in a relationship. When the hard times come, it is always nice to have someone that can make you laugh. I’m so happy to have photographed these two. Their love for each other is endearing and true. You can tell by the mere way they look at each other. Swoon…

Meet the Robertson family. Erin is my cousin and practically my sister. We grew up together and now it is super fun watching our children grow up together. My son came to this shoot and actually snuck in for a picture at the end (you can see it at the bottom…silly boy). Don’t you love the beautiful field? They get to look at this beautiful landscape every morning (a perk of living in the country). I also love that Erin wanted to incorporate instruments in their shoot, considering she is a fantastic music teacher at a local elementary school. Everything about these pictures shows the personalities of their sweet, precious boys. I look forward to getting to watch them grow up.

When I was around 10 or 11 years old, my Daddy took us to the Rodeo that came into town. I’m 28 now and can still remember dressing up as a cowgirl. My Mom even used her brown eyeliner pencil to put freckles on my face (beause all cowgirls have freckles, right?). When I heard the rodeo was coming, I knew I had to recreate the memory for my family. Micah, our sweet 3 year old, loves Woody from Toy Story so he brought him along. We all dressed up in our rodeo gear and headed to the event. My Mom and Dad were there, so of course they spoiled Micah even more by purchasing a soda. It was a great time and I am thankful for the great memories from the rodeo.

Fall is my favorite season of the year. Something about it is so romantic and gives me the fuzzies in my tummy. You know what I’m talking about? It’s not so cold that you have to wear a heavy coat and its not blazing hot. The weather is so beautiful, so lovely. We will be offering fall mini sessions from now until mid-October. Get ready to fall in love
