Last fall I went on my first super duper big girl business trip…to NYC! Here’s the deal: I have been wanting to have custom pieces of clothing for my studio clients for awhile now and decided to team up with local Nashville designer, Sarah Farrell. To say I am excited is an understatement. Her work is amazing, creative, and high quality (you need to check her out). It was such a great experience to discuss ideas, view and touch fabric from the largest fabric store I have ever seen (MOOD), and nail down clothing pieces for my maternity clients. In case you haven’t ever watched Project Runway, Mood is a massive fabric store in NYC and it is three (or four) stories high. This place is filled with rows and rows of fabric. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Here’s to new beginnings and custom clothing for my clients!
